Last year's Purple Cap winner Yuzvendra Chahal has also been in the mix of things, charting unprecedented heights by becoming the leading wicket-taker in the competition's history. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the only bowler among the list of winners of the Purple Cap to have won it consecutively in 2016 and 2017.
